Integrates Replacement Parts Operations, Names David McNaughton General Manager,
Aftermarket Division

TUCSON, AZ -
Walbro Engine Management has integrated the distribution of replacement
parts into its operations. In a related move, David W. McNaughton has been named
general manager of Walbro Engine Management's newly-formed Aftermarket Division.
Prior to January 1, replacement parts for Walbro Engine Management's carburetors
and ignition systems were distributed through the Aftermarket Division of TI
Automotive, Walbro Engine Management's parent company.
"The integration of our replacement parts operations directly under Walbro
Engine Management reflects the importance of those operations to our company,"
notes Andrew Masterman, President, Walbro Engine Management. "The result will be
greater responsiveness to the needs of those who service products equipped with
Walbro carburetors and ignition systems."
As general manager of Walbro Engine Management's Aftermarket Division,
McNaughton will report directly to Masterman. McNaughton joined Walbro in 1969
as an industrial engineer and has held a variety of manufacturing, sales and
administrative positions. He spent the last 15 years in small engine aftermarket
sales and operations in Cass City, Michigan.
"This change will be seamless to our customers," according to McNaughton.
"Aftermarket operations will remain in Cass City. Most of the long-term Walbro
employees who are familiar with Walbro's customers and products will remain
involved with day to day activities. The only visible change will be an improved
ability to respond to customer needs, thanks to a stronger focus on aftermarket
activities and a streamlined administrative structure."
