MANAGEMENT EXPANDS WEB SITE TO INCLUDE FEATURES FOR OEM AND AFTERMARKET

Management has greatly expanded its web site, www.walbro.com, to include
extensive aftermarket parts and service information and an on-line order
status and shipping detail inquiry for OEM customers and aftermarket
distributors.
"In effect, we have added our entire aftermarket catalog to the web
site," says David W. McNaughton, general manager of Walbro's Aftermarket
Division and Cass City Operations. "By using the site's powerful search
engine, users can quickly obtain a wide range of information regarding
Walbro service parts, including exploded drawings, available repair
parts and list prices. Walbro repair kits and replacement parts for
engines produced by more than 60 manufacturers are included in the
database."
After entering the "Service and Aftermarket" section of the Walbro site,
users select "Aftermarket Parts" to search for replacement parts
information. They can then search by engine manufacturer, Walbro part
number, manufacturer part number or by Walbro carburetor series. In each
case, exploded drawings, repair kit and replacement part numbers and
pricing information are available.
In addition to service parts information, the site includes a new "Tech
Tips" section that provides useful, hands-on information for service
personnel. The site also incorporates a complete listing of Authorized
Walbro Distributors around the world.
OEM customers and distributors will be able to inquire on-line regarding
their order status and shipping details on a 24 hour / 7 day basis. This
tool will allow OEM customers and distributors to quickly review open
orders and track shipments made from Walbro facilities worldwide. This
new on-line service is now available to all distributors and will be
rolled out to the OEM base over the next 12 months.
Extensive information on the Company's original equipment products and
activities are included on the site. News releases are regularly posted
to keep users informed of the latest developments in technology as well
as corporate activities.
