WALBRO JAPAN RECEIVES AWARDS FROM TWO CUSTOMERS

Walbro Japan Inc., a unit of Walbro Engine Management, recently received awards from two of its customers, Kioritz Corporation and Maruyama Mfg. Co.

In presenting the awards, both Kioritz and Maruyama honored Walbro Japan for “Excellence in Quality, Cost and Delivery” of its products and expressed gratitude for their long-term business relationships.

Kioritz presented its award, which recognized Walbro Japan as a top supplier from a group of 70 vendors, in December. Walbro Japan supplies Kioritz with diaphragm carburetors, in-tank fuel filters, chain oil pumps and air cleaners for gasoline engines used in lawn and garden applications.

The award from Maruyama was presented in January. It honored Walbro Japan as one of six top suppliers out of a field of 76 vendors. Walbro Japan supplies Maruyama with flywheels, ignition systems, in-tank fuel filters and air cleaners for lawn and garden applications.

According to Andrew V. Masterman, President Walbro Engine Management, “These awards reflect the ongoing efforts of Walbro Japan to provide high quality, cost-effective products and excellent service to its customers. I congratulate the employees of Walbro Japan on these two important awards.”
