WALBRO JAPAN RECEIVES AWARDS FROM TWO CUSTOMERS

TUCSON, AZ - Walbro Japan Inc., a
unit of Walbro Engine Management, recently received awards from two of
its customers, Kioritz Corporation and Maruyama Mfg. Co.
In presenting the awards, both Kioritz and Maruyama honored Walbro Japan
for “Excellence in Quality, Cost and Delivery” of its products and
expressed gratitude for their long-term business relationships.
Kioritz presented its award, which recognized Walbro Japan as a top
supplier from a group of 70 vendors, in December. Walbro Japan supplies
Kioritz with diaphragm carburetors, in-tank fuel filters, chain oil
pumps and air cleaners for gasoline engines used in lawn and garden
applications.
The award from Maruyama was presented in January. It honored Walbro
Japan as one of six top suppliers out of a field of 76 vendors. Walbro
Japan supplies Maruyama with flywheels, ignition systems, in-tank fuel
filters and air cleaners for lawn and garden applications.
According to Andrew V. Masterman, President Walbro Engine Management,
“These awards reflect the ongoing efforts of Walbro Japan to provide
high quality, cost-effective products and excellent service to its
customers. I congratulate the employees of Walbro Japan on these two
important awards.”
Walbro Engine Management, a unit of TI Automotive, is the world's
largest manufacturer of carburetors and a major manufacturer of ignition
systems, fuel injection and air/fuel management components for engines
targeted at outdoor power equipment, marine, recreational and two-wheel
