Walbro Engine Management celebrated the opening of its new
manufacturing facility in Los Mochis, Sinaloa, Mexico with ceremonies at the
plant on Wednesday, April 17, 2002.
Vicente Fox, President of Mexico, teamed with Juan S. Millan, Governor, State of
Sinaloa, Mexico, and Andrew V. Masterman, President, Walbro Engine Management,
at a ribbon-cutting ceremony officially opening the facility. The event was
attended by 350 people.
The 70,000 square foot manufacturing plant was built in response to increasing
