Walbro Engine Management ANNOUNCES PERSONNEL CHANGES IN ITS GLOBAL OPERATIONS

TUCSON, AZ
Walbro Engine Management has
announced a number of high level personnel changes, primarily in its global Lawn
and Garden operations. The appointments were announced by Tony Martin, Chief
Executive Officer, Walbro Engine Management.
"These changes
reflect our strategy of managing the Lawn and Garden business on a truly global
basis," Martin said. "I am pleased to announce the following appointments,
which represent a realignment of key personnel to better serve our worldwide
customer base."
Harunori Seki has
been named Vice President, Engineering, Lawn and Garden. He will have
responsibility for the Global Lawn and Garden Engineering team. He retains his
position as Senior Managing Director, Japan, and will continue to manage the
Fluid Control and Two-Wheel businesses. Seki joined Walbro in 1977. He is
based in Tokyo, Japan.
Ann Guernsey has
been appointed Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Lawn and Garden. She will
assume responsibility for Global Lawn and Garden sales and marketing. She
retains her role in managing all
Walbro Engine Management
communications. Guernsey has been with Walbro since 1988. She is based in
Tucson, AZ.
Yukio Goto has
been named Vice President, Operations, Lawn and Garden. He will be responsible
for all Lawn and Garden manufacturing operations on a global basis. A Walbro
employee since 1980, Goto is based in Kakuda, Japan.
Steve Thomson has
been named Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
for Walbro Engine Management. Working out of Tucson, AZ, Thomson joined Walbro
in 2000.
Ed Duplaga has
already assumed the role of
Walbro Engine Management's
Vice President and General Counsel. Hired in 2007, Duplaga is currently based
in Warren, MI.
Ron Roche retains
his position as Vice President,
Walbro Engine Management's
Global Technology Group, based in Cass City, MI. He is a 24-year Walbro
veteran.
Tony Newell will
assume the role of Global Lawn and Garden Purchasing and Materials Director, in
addition to his continuing responsibilities as Global Purchasing Director for
Walbro Engine
Management. He joined Walbro in 2006 and
is based in Tucson, AZ.
Dave McNaughton
has been appointed Project
Director/Aftermarket Director and in June will begin a three-year assignment in
Asia to implement an enterprise resource planning system in China, Thailand and
Japan. A 38-year veteran of Walbro, he has been based in Cass City, MI.
Travis Eckenrode
has been appointed
Walbro Engine Management's
Human Resources Director. Eckenrode started at Walbro in 2005. He is based in
Tucson, AZ.
Anand Pinto
retains his position as IT Director for
Walbro Engine Management, based
in Tucson, AZ. He joined Walbro in 1987.
Roy Greenwood will assume the
position of General Manager, Recreation and Marine effective June 2007.
He has been with Walbro for 19 years and is based in Cass City, MI.
